The secretary of the National Association of Broiler Poultry Farmers of the country said: it is said that the approved price of live chicken has increased unofficially but has not been announced. This means that poultry farmers can sell each kilo of live chicken up to a price of nineteen thousand tomans and the penalties will not penalize them. But it must be said that when a price is set informally, the only achievement is to create chaos in the market.
He said that when production costs rise, the cost of production will increase as a result, adding that the government should officially announce the approved price of chicken based on this increase in costs, but unfortunately this has not happened yet.
He continued: "Last week, some poultry farmers across the country gathered in front of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture to protest against the increase in production components and the price of one-day-old chickens, but did not receive a specific answer."
